I've just completed the latest ROH Survey and mentioned the poor sight lines for In The Night. Each of the three couples dance part of the time almost in the wings. A significant section of the audience is looking at an empty stage. On Saturday eve I was SC D11(my first viewing of this bill from left side) and was 'blinded' by the light from the pianist's music. I suggested having the pianist at the back of the stage. (I wrote my name and email address on this Survey.)

I was at Clapham Picture House. The picture did not seem to be HD. It was not as good as a Blu-ray disc. Odette's tutu became bright yellow at times. The Act 4 dramatic climax was 'lost'.

At the other end of the scale the SC standing plebs will no longer be able to book at Friends or Public booking.

Just received In The House for Spring Period. - Once again all Friends are able to book 4 tickets for every performance. There will be little chance of 'basic' Friends and the 'Public' booking any SC standing tickets.

Public Booking today - Did anyone manage to get any SC standing for any Triple Bill performance?

I exchanged emails with Susan Fisher the day after Friends booking. - She confirmed that on Friends booking day some performances had no SC standing available - as higher Friends had booked them all. - For last booking period the allowance was very generous.- She gave no indication that tickets would be released prior to Public Booking.

I thoroughly enjoyed Love Tomorrow. Beautiful, moving and natural performances by Cindy Jourdain and Arional Vargas - and the many supporting performers. Covers a 24hr period in about 45 locations around London. Excellent score. A great production superbly directed. ***** Five stars

Beryl - Amazon tell me (after several exchanges of email) that both of these discs are DVD - the £23.20 is not Blu Ray. - They are from 'different suppliers'.
