Hi everyone, My dd has her audition for Tring soon. She has choreographed a dance to a song that you found on YouTube. When she looked on ITunes to purchase the song it was very different to the song she had used. She was very upset as she says she won't be able to make a new dance in time. Can you use a song from YouTube in the audition? Or, is there a way to convert the video? Thanks xx

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of any private Ballet teachers located near the Watford area or in London? I am interested for my 14 year old dd to take some private lessons in preparation for auditions and for technique etc. How often would you recommend lessons to be on top of regular dance classes and weekly associates all day Saturday? Thank you.

Hi everyone, I hope that this has not already been discussed but I was wondering do any of the schools have open days or tours? I know Tring do as we are attending however, I couldn't find and details on any other school such as elmhurst which my dd is interested in. If anyone needs to know, my dd is currently going into year 9. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, my dd is 13 and mainly does non-syllabus work (Vaganova, Balanchine and English) for four hours per week all at intermediate level. She also takes ISTD grade 5 ballet for one hour. She also takes other sales of dance such as modern, jazz, tap, musical theatre and contemporary. She is on pointe too. However, recently she has been wanting to take more ballet exams as preparation for vocational school auditions. We have phoned other local dance schools and decided on which one we like. She is going to do a trial class in their inter foundation and intermediate class. By what i have said, do you think this is the right level of class to start in? Thanks x

My dd is 13 and will be wearing tights as that is what I assume other girls her age would be wearing. However, if she could I am sure she would wear socks as she finds it more comfortable.

My dd is auditions no and she will be in group 5. She is either wearing a lilac or burgundy camisole leotard and a belt with tights most likely as I assume that is what most girls her age will wear. Do you know wheat the photos are for? How long will they take? Thanks in advance X

My dd has got this leotard in lilac and burgundy. Which colour would be best for a 13 year old? Also, what colour ballet belt could we use for the leotards (we can't find a burgundy one for the burgundy leotard so what other colour would be ok?)? Thanks x

Don't get me wrong, my dd love her dance school, but at 13 she doesn't feel they offer enough ballet classes and would love to do more. One of her friends goes different ballet school and dd is thinking of also taking classes there as well as the ones she already takes at her current school. Would this be rude or would it be ok to do? Thanks x
