alison
Wow. It's almost enough to make you up sticks and go to live in Bucharest!

simonbfisher
"Bucharest is a beautiful town and is well worth a visit!" Yes, Annamicro, it certainly is. And full of friendly and helpful people. If you go to the Ballet - and what a programme this is! - and are tempted by the (very reasonably priced) Stalls Boxes, just watch out for the pillars. Or take a periscope.
annamicro
Quite easy to envisage which ballets Alina Cojocaru will be guesting in!!!!!!! Really? Honestly, I have difficulties to pick out the ones where she would not be a natural guest! Anyway from this very long one, I have a shorter personal list of ballets in which I'd really really love to see her : I'm crossing my fingers!!!
aileen
It's interesting to see how much Ashton JK is including in the season. Perhaps he has been inspired by his involvement in Sarasota's Ashton Festival earlier this year.
Dance*is*life
It's also a beautiful traditional opera house. I performed there in 2008 and I must say that I was thrilled. Sounds a wonderful and very varied programme.

annamicro
Just wanted to say that with Ryanair today you can go to Bucharest from Stanstead for as little as £32 RETURN!!!!! The town is beautiful and inexpensive and the Romanian National Ballet was great in La Fille mal gardée, as it was in La Sylphide the past year: the trip is highly recommended! I'd have loved to write something about Fille premiere, but I had no time to put together ideas in English...I hope to be able to do that when back from London.
