betterankles Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 As well as Olesya Novikova and Leonid Sarafanov, Anais Chalendard and Friedemann Vogel will be guests at the Rome Opera, dancing La Sylphide. Their performances will be on 31st May and 4th June. It will be Erik Bruhn"s production for The Australian Ballet, sadly the last one he did, restaged by Maina Gielgud. Other dancers performing the roles of La Sylphide and James will be Gaia Straccamore, Alessia Gay and Alessio Rezza from the Rome Opera Ballet. betterankles Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Yes, sadly Olesya Novikova and Leonid Sarafanov will not be performing La Sylphide in Rome at the end of this month, due to visa problems he has had. Dates of performances have been shifted due to this, and the good news is that Cuban guest artist Rolando Sarabia will be perrforming with Gaia Straccamore on the 28th May, and with guest Anais Chalendard on 30th May. Alessia Gay and Alessio Rezza will be dancing on 30th May and 1st June. Guest artist Friedemann Vogel from Stuttgart Ballet will perform with Anais Chalendard on 1st and 5th June, and with Gaia Straccamore on 4th June Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
