ENBS Professional Trainee Programme Mixed Bill

 

Wednesday, March 29 at 3pm & 8pm

ENBS Professional Trainees present a mixed bill of three specially commissioned contrasting works at Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler’s Wells in Angel on Wednesday, March 29 at 3pm & 8pm.

 

Italian choreographer, Mauro de Candia, reimagines The Carnival of the Animals using Camille Saint-Saëns´ famous suite to open the door to a magical universe full of imaginative creatures. Katarzyna Kozielska´s neo-classical piece Arise gives the dancers the opportunities to explore the limits of their technique and musicality.

 

Completing the programme is Kristina Paulin´s Reminiscence, a physical representation of the works of Antonio Vivaldi, his life in the baroque era and his close relation to Anna Tessieri Girò.

 

English National Ballet School’s Professional Trainee programme, under the artistic direction of Viviana Durante, offers students from around the world the chance to work with some of the biggest names in dance and further their training as they prepare to launch their dance careers.

I was very impressed with the students when went to see them with the London Ballet Circle.

Thank you for posting about this - am so glad I followed it up. 
A really enjoyable performance - and I appreciated being so close to the dancers . 
 

I had never been to the Lilian Baylis Studio before so what an added bonus it was to walk past the portraits and busts of the great and the good in British ballet in the entrance .
