  5. I would recommend Maestro Andrew Greenwood . He has online Ballet Technique videos on Youtube . I find them quite inspirational and informative to watch when I am unable to get to a Ballet Class myself.

  7. Venti Petrov , Ferdi Tumakaka and Lisa Harris all have good Ballet Class Albums on Spotify.
  8. I purchased the Intermediate Foundation which downloaded fully on my iPad but only ever shows the Plies section before crashing . A total waste of money. If they are unable to fix these issues maybe they would be better off selling these items as DVD's only
  9. This happened with a BRB family event last year at the Lowry . Costumes for the children to try on or just to look at and also a box of used Pointe Shoes.They were allowed very briefly to rise up in them one foot at a time only .
  10. When I was little I absolutely loved a box of Records of assorted Ballet Music that my parents had. I remember well dancing happily round the room to the beautiful music !
  11. Thank you for the reply Anna. Tchaikovsky's Ballet Music has just that effect on me ! My toes just start to tingle whenever I hear it !
  12. hopeforpointe I think you described KNT really well there. Lovely atmosphere and excellent Teachers too. Would very much recommend their Ballet Classes to anyone . Will you be doing both Intensives . I'm just doing Swan Lake .
  13. Just thinking back to January when I took part in the English National Ballet Swan Lake workshop. We were taught the Waltz of the Swans ( number 13 in the Score itself) from Act Two which was fun to learn and I loved the music too - it was so lyrical and lovely . I'm kind of hoping that will be one of the pieces chosen by Jane . More fun when the choreography was changed so we had to point threateningly at Rothbart as he wandered into our midst at the end !
  14. Crystal please could you post details of your October intensive when you have them ? A Workshop given by BRB Principals sounds amazing and I for one would love to be there !

  18. Hello Janet I was referring to the Northern Ballet School in Manchester. I saw and much enjoyed one of their recent end of year Dance Showcases but there was no mention as to where this years Graduates had obtained Contracts .
