Bellini Pointe

I had trouble getting orthotics to stay in place until i discovered the Ballet Shoe orthotics on the Dr Foot website. They support my heels and stay put fine in both my Sansha Pro split sole soft and also Sansha Pointe shoes. I have used them for a couple of months now and find them to be comfortable in wear and effective in aligning my naturally pronated feet . Hello Pas. Yes you are indeed right ! Was confusing them with couple of freed models that i briefly tried out around the same time ... Thanks for correcting me !

My favourite pointe shoes of all were Bellini (hence my user name !) unfortunately long since discontinued but suited my feet wonderfully and required the minimum of preparation to wear.Next i wore the then available Freed Turning Pointe shoe which i found comfortable.Then followed Sansha Whispers which you could add a plastic insert in to the shank for extra strength.To date just fine still wearing Sansha`s .

I agree LinMM they can`t be beaten in my opinion too - LOVED dancing on the Coliseum Stage today ! Hope the weather improves for the rest of your holiday.

Hello LinMM do you have any plans to attend either of the two upcoming ENB Contemporary/Corsaire Workshops ? I have booked for the Corsaire one in June.

Thank you Janet ! Actually i had a lovely ENB experience today in London at the Coliseum participating in their Swan Lake workshop .Had a ballet class on stage followed by being taught a corps de ballet extract from Act Two - really enjoyed it !

Watching the Dress Rehearsal of ENB`s Swan Lake in manchester on their latest visit there was quite a lot of interaction between the Conductor and Ballerina over tempo when it came to her Solos - in particular the Fouettes in Act 3 . In fact after the rehearsal finished she wanted to rehearse them again so it was quite an interesting sight watching the White Feather Tutued Odette dancing Odile`s Coda !!
