Bruce Wall
Well it does say it is intended for a 'privileged few'. Not me either I fear, Alison. Well, not in this lifetime I think ... Edited April 10, 2015 by Bruce Wall
aileen
Well, it appears to be a worthy cause but I wonder how many people are willing and able to pay £2,500 for a dinner and a bit of a performance.
Ellie
I wonder how much the private ballet lesson with Vishneva will fetch at auction ?! ....And Aileen, possibly wealthy Russians ?!
Duck
A short clip from Alastair Marriott's new piece "Zeitgeist" with Natalia Osipova and Edward Watson has been put on Instagram by the organisers of last night's event, the link here https://instagram.com/p/1njU-OIQVv/?taken-by=nakedheartfoundation This is the first time that I am including a link in my post so please bear with me if the link doesn't work. ;-)
Coated
Thanks for the link. It looks interesting, and I'm very happy that Watson and Osipova chose to work together. Though for 2.5k I probably would have asked them to turn up the light a bit.... Edited April 19, 2015 by Coated
alison
Not for the first time: there's Connectome (or perhaps that wasn't technically their choice?), and didn't McGregor do a pdd for them for a gala at the ROH shortly after she'd arrived? alison
"Guests also witnessed the world premiere of “Zeitgeist” by The Royal Ballet’s principal dancers Natalia Osipova and Edward Watson. The performance, which was choreographed by Alastair Marriott, left more than a few audience members dabbing at the tears in their eyes." Interesting. Wonder if we shall get a chance to see it sometime?

alison
Does anyone know what Marcelino danced ? From the link which John has posted above (thanks, John!), it sounds as though he was one of the other dancers in Zeitgeist. Just looking at the dates for the Ardani gala - darn. I think I've committed myself to going to the Davis Cup with the other tennis fans in the family for both of those.
