Anna C
There are quite a few threads about EYB Swan Lake if you search for the phrase within Doing Dance: https://www.balletcoforum.com/search/?q=EYB Swan Lake&type=forums_topic&nodes=9&search_and_or=and
Pointeshoesarethedream
DD came out slightly disappointed as she wanted to be a princess but is a servent (she’s 8 ) I’ve tried to tell her she’ll love her part just as much but I know so little about the parts, if anyone can shed any light that would be great. I’ve read the linked threads but they are more older parts rather than Junior parts.
Damedolly
My DD has just turned 9 and is a cygnet, she came out happy , but had no idea what everyone was apart from princes nieces?!
tutugirl
It seems the youngest are courtiers / servants . My lot achieved : a Swan , a Maryinsky dancer , 2 cygnets , a niece , and a courtier !
margarite
I think EYB are really great at making sure that all the children get an equal amount of time on stage. My DD was a cygnet and loved it, so did her friend who was a courtier/servant.
