alison
Blast. Only one performance for Brandon and Delia, and it's an evening one. After my last hell trying to get back from Soton, am I prepared to risk it again?
alison
Double and triple blast. Anyone going to evening performances, CHECK YOU HAVE TRAINS HOME. There appear to be engineering works and replacement bus services that week GRRRRR!
nickwellings
I have chanced it and bought Brandon/Delia yesterday. (It's not like I have been checking every day for a month ) I also have bought for the matinee too. Fingers crossed for the trains on my 4 hour trip down
Tony Newcombe
A good choice. They are so beautifully matched. Probably won't be long before people start referring to them as Brelia
nickwellings
Or D-Law? You are right though, Tony. The minute I saw them at Sadlers I knew I had to see them again. Just beautiful dancing from both.
alison
I was hurrying to do my earlier post and get into the Coliseum for tonight's Le Corsaire, so let's clarify: the engineering works appear to be on the London-Southampton route. There are of course other rail routes to Southampton: I don't automatically think that the whole country revolves around London

Two Pigeons
Why one know why there is no Singleton Gittens cast? I do hope neither is injured.

There are of course other rail routes to Southampton: I don't automatically think that the whole country revolves around London Yes, they're quite long-term engineering works - every late-night for a couple of months, I think? I remember taking note of an information announcement to that effect while waiting for a train at Hook station after visiting my sister a couple of weeks ago, and thanking goodness I didn't have tickets for anything at the Mayflower at the moment... alison
Having looked into this in a bit more detail, there are no engineering works on the Fri and Sat. My guess is that it's Mon-Thurs only or something, because after all, who on earth might want to go out in London on a weekday evening? Just a shame that it screws up the one performance I might bother going down there for. Although at nearly £40 for a day return perhaps I won't bother anyway.
