    I guess it’s up to you, but I’d try to go to Tring as much as possible. I would prioritise EYB show and rehearsals nearest the show week. If that helps?

    I’m sure EYB will let you go to Tring, they are very good at accommodating associate schemes .

    The waiting is so hard! More so for parents, I think!

    The London year 7 auditions were the Sunday before the year 8&9s. So I think only year 7 London are out at the moment. Don’t know about other centres.

    Just wondering if anyone has any advice on the solo for the Hammond audition? As they do a ballet and modern class as part of the audition, would it be better to do a solo in a different style? My dd doesn’t have have a solo as doesn’t do festivals so not sure what to do! I’ve spoken to her teacher.

    My dd got a yes for the 1st time, she was on the waiting list last year. (I think her professional photos have helped)

    For academics - You might be able to find a school that offers the international baccalaureate as I work at a school that’s teaches that (sorry not in London)

    That’s interesting as lots of current associate teacher have their own school.

    Anyone else’s child in year 7 now and auditioning? My dd is auditioning for associates and vocational schools. She wasn’t ready last year but has now decided she wants it! I’m presuming it’s even harder to get a place in the higher years.

    Emma northmore has a team working with her at ballet boost so I guess she could do both.

    I think they last really well too. Dd has a grishko which wasn’t as thick so a little see through when stretched she loves the wear moi leotards too. different styles suit different bodies.
