    There were only 6 UK in the final year 10 audition, the other 16 were International

    WL tour for yr 10/11 last weekend was for parents only 😊

    My DD was at finals for yr 10 on Friday and Saturday and there were a lot of staff on the panel so they were probably preoccupied 🤣 It should definitely be this week, then we can all start to arrange our summers one way or another. 😊☀️🛫⛱️

    My DD has finals for a yr 10 place at RBS on Friday and Saturday this week, anyone else out there??

    The current year 9’s have a separate audition as well as their assessments. I feel for this year group and the one before because the system changed whilst they were yr 7’s so it wasn’t what they signed up for! There is an extremely small amount of UK trained girls going to finals for yr10 and the word is that Royal have already offered some places to International students for Yr10! Mostly competition winners. Royal do state on their programme structure that entry into yr10 can be through competitions.

    You should be able to park, there is a fair sized car park at the school the first time my DD went to finals there were 70+ children at finals and we all managed to park. They opened the far gate and some people parked just outside on the last day pick up.

    My DD auditioned before Christmas and results were back in three working days 🤞

    Tring is brilliant, my DD did it last year. 5 classes a day including ballet, contemporary, musical theatre, lyrical and Jazz. My DD also did RBS last year, which she loved too, they did four classes a day so one extra at Tring. On one of the evenings they had a trip into London to watch My Fair Lady.

    Does anyone know if Tring have more DaDa funding then MDS funding? I know they have very limited MDS funding spread across the whole of the lower school, was hoping they had more for upper school,

    I know that YDA, Moorland and Tring allow their students to enjoy RBS Mids at the weekend. I believe it comes on the understanding that school commitments come first. Some students carry on with Mids whilst ensuring that they have made the correct choice about vocational school and don’t want to give up their Mids place in case vocational isn’t for them. I know of Mids moving centres. A girl at my DD centre moved. Now is the time to ask, whilst they are looking at filling places from the wait list.

    They are all girls, applying for a year 8 place, I think they have kept final audition numbers really small for entry into yr8 and yr9.

    I have only heard of three year 8's getting to finals this year

    In previous years Tring have sent results out via the post! It will mean postman stalking rather than email refreshing 🤣

    There is quite a lot of movement as vocational students turn down their places. I know of a few that got into my daughters Mids class from wait list.

    Last year Mid results came out on the 25th March. I guess this year is different but doubt it will be much longer.

    My daughter said the year 8's did some things slightly differently and she counted 6 doing the year 8 stuff.

    Brilliant, did she enjoy it? My daughter auditioned too said it was fab.

    There were 6 year 8 girls in the second group on Tuesday, it was a mixed group of year 7 and 8. There was 8 year 7 girls in the group, so 14 in total 😉 Did your daughter audition? 😊

    Does anybody know if there were any year 8 boys auditioning with the year 7 boys today?
