    I've never got dd professional photos and just take them myself! She manages to get accepted on to a variety of intensives. She seems to know if the position is correct. The form was also very simple. Just who they are, where they are from, and how long dancing tbh. She will have professional ones next year though as its upper school audition time.

    My DD who is now in Yr 10 at Elm was never a young dancer, but was a JA.

    Well I live 3 hours north of Elmhurst so my DD always stays at weekends. Plenty of things to keep them going at weekends.....Saturday always to the park and Aldi. This term they are going to the Wave water park, Dudley Zoo and Castle, doing an Alpaca visit etc. As they get in to Year 10 they are given more freedom.....so my DD can go to Costa and Selly Oaks in small groups. Year 11 can go into Birmingham centre in groups.

    We have given up our place. .... annoyed they extended deadline as before Christmas there were affordable trains for 3 of us and hotel. Nothing in our price bracket nearby now, and can't stay further out as with a smaller child so not practical.

    I would love info about fees and accommodation costs? I can't find anything about them and this is somewhere my DD is interested in next year.

    Yey! Got a place.....now to.try and find cheap accommodation for adult and 2 children!

    Hope we hear soon! Trains are getting more expensive and they aren't the refundable option!

    It's the 14th to 16th......my DD sent a msg via Instagram to ask and they amended it on there......but obvs not on FB.

    What was the time they finished on the last day? I'm going to book train tickets and hope I can get a refund or change if we don't need them!!

    Omg! Really not helpful for booking train tickets and hotels for people who need to travel with a months notice!!

    Not heard anything either and not had a reply to my email to check they have the photos OK......though they may be busy with full time applications?

    Has anyone heard anything as its 2 weeks since we applied, and the information said within 2 weeks. Have emailed to see if they received it OK but no reply. Train tickets have just been released and I want the cheap ones 🤣🤣🤣

    So we have applied for Spring as term dates work for everyone!!!! How long did it take to hear back....need to book hotel and train!

    Northern Ballet in Leeds Or Elmhurst Young Dancers in Manchester......takes me juts over an hour from Yorkshire.

    £950 plus travel from the north and hotel stay needed at either end of week makes it so expensive for us! I think we will stick to our local northern YBS for £650 for 6 days!

    Well......truly priced out of applying for RBS now. £950 for what is 5 days of training?!!! I have read that correct haven't I? They have put their dates out for summer on their website:(

    We had to turn down ours......although she is on half term, I'm not so can't take her. Hoping for no clash with February half term!

    Even if accommodation is cheaper, with tuition even with Dada it's unaffordable
