Hi Dancey and welcome to the forum. They must be nearly ready to put out emails. 2 years ago they were sent out in March but everything is a bit later this year. All other audition results and places have now been confirmed. Why don't you give RBS reception a call. They are really helpful and won't mind you calling. Xx

DD has been offered MA yr 7 place at Bath - from waiting list. Anyone know if they prefer satin or leather flats there please? Again, didn't realise how few places were available for MA'S. Very proud of DD,

Email received today saying my DD had a place at SS. Lovely result after a no from final audition. DD is so excited.

It's a no...for now..DD disappointed but ok. Her friend also got a no.

We have an envelope waiting to be opened for my DD..about to collect her from school for EYB rehearsals...at least that will pick her up if it's a no. Well done to all those yes's and maybe see the not now's next year at auditions. Dont give up, just make the most of the next 12 months. A lot can change in a year. I believe they do give feedback from finals but it's given to their dance teacher..

MA'S are out. Received email 6pm DD offered short waiting list as has her friend, and her other friend got an MA place. Good luck to all other DC.

My DD is quite tall so has also had moments of questioning her ability. Every time they have a growth spurt their muscles change and also affects centre of gravity all with adjusting to a new height! Hopefully she won't grow too much more.

Hi, I am also new to ballet forum, although have been watching in the wings. Thank you all for sharing so much info. My DD auditioned for yr7 on Tues but was so poorly cried on way out as she felt so ill. She was really disappointed with her audition, she said she could have done better, so we are not hopeful of a place now. Just when I thought we were prepared for the worst, I said to her "it just isn't meant to be" and she said " but it is" .. my heart sunk...She is usually very realistic, like when she didn't get finals for RBS. Now we are back to square one. Need those results Mon so can move on one way or another. Good luck to everyone else's DC. Unfortunately some will be disappointed this time. Try and try again is my motto. My DD will try again next year if not successful.
