Interesting to watch this competition ! Thank you ENB for this live streaming ! The company is full of talents and the boys are especially promising Daniele Silingardi has weak turns but a beautiful jump, Erik Woolhouse is very gifted and Cesar Corrales is just on another planet... Among the girls Rina Kanehara was, to my eyes, the best; she was very nervous but has an amazing talent, Jeannette Kakareka has a wonderful line, beautiful arabesques but is really too skinny and Isabelle Brouwers seems to be a very clever and versatile dancer. A very enjoyable evening and the discovery for me was Shiori Kase, she is just wonderful, what a technique, what a dancer, she should be made principal !

Can this really be someone else than Cesar Corrales ?

We can say the guy knows about how to make the head lines ! Concerning his dancing I have to say that what I saw of him in Gloria a few years back was extremely disappointing. He was very weak technically and nothing special artistically. At the end I was even wondering if he was injured... I guess he is a lucky guy that the papers talks about him

Gregory Lau has a very nice quality of movement but lacks the feet and legs work required for a piece such as Hans Van Manen's Solo. Alice Godfrey is the jewel of the company, wonderful body, extensions, technique. She has it all !

I think dancers (all of them) have to be strong physically, mentally and emotionally. Their lifes must be organized around their art. Sometimes things are not well balanced and they get injured or depressed.

and what about Osipova ? is she seriously injured ?

Yes and when we see what Tamara Rojo does with ENB we can't help wondering if the Royal Ballet made the right choice !
