Thanks that was really useful! When I went I really performed and I think that's the key because I remember there were some good people but they didn't perform and they didn't get recalled

I random little tip that my dance teacher told us is if you take a the picture slightly from an angle, like you were too look up at the dancer, it makes them look like they have longer legs

Dancing10, I sent my application pretty early as we wanted to get them all off so we could just relax about it. SwaybackSapphire, cool! I'm not quite sure of my time yet but we live about 2 and 1/2 hours away from Birmingham so we have already booked a hotel to stay in.

Some of my friends goes to central and one is now in 3rd year and two have just started in September and they all love it. I think the fact you are on there own gives them great independence and prepares them for real life. I think central is more classical but they are also very good at contemporary. I think Tring is better if you like performing arts and all rounded dancers

Also does anyone know roughly how many people they take into year 10? Is it sometimes none?

For the Royal Ballet summer school and Elmhurst summer school , there is no audition process just photos. So that's when they do really need to be there best

I say it is beneficial for anyone! I've auditioned 3 times for the royal and I still go to the insight day. It gives them an extra chance to look at you and it's good experience anyway. Also it's a day out in London!!

My friend said she was at a competition with them and that they were very annoying and mean to her. I was quite sad to hear this as they seem lovely on the show..

I'm auditioning for year 10 and also very nervous as I have been doing ballet for years but this year I've realised that I really do want to become a professional dancer. I have my elmhurst auditions on the 18th. I did the summer school and hope that I made a good impression. I'm feeling the pressure as I love elmhurst and the BRB. I also have royal auditions but I am a bit skeptical about getting in there.
