Is anyone's dd or ds auditioning for EYB in Wimbledon tomorrow? Dh has pointed out to me that the tennis starts tomorrow so traffic and parking will be a nightmare!

We are thinking of going by train to be safe.

I don't know where the EYB auditions are, but I go to Wimbledon for tennis often and I would definitely recommend public transport. It is pretty hectic when the tennis is on.

My experience is that the South West Trains service isn't too bad - there are trains every few minutes to Wimbledon - at least, there were never problems around 8 am.  The District Line is likely to be rather worse, I would think, because the "queue" now starts at the Southfields end, and there are fewer transport options.

Two girls from our dance school did - one with a half scholarship :)  (one other little one auditioned apparently but didn't get in - although it sounds like she wasn't really expecting to!!)

Thanks!

We had a very easy journey by train, the station was very close to the theatre. Still waiting to find out the rehearsal venue though....

Good luck lemmongirl. We will be going to Oxford for their production of Swan Lake.

Casting is on July the first and dd wants so very much to be a swan.!!!!
