Dea
That's fantastic interested Parent, we didn't stay to watch the senior auditions but we were very impressed with the level of talent at the junior auditions and the whole professionalism of the EYB. We will see you soon then!

taxi4ballet
Spax, to give you some idea, there were 130+ at the junior audition, and we were told at the start of the senior audition that they had accepted 52 juniors. There were 103 in the senior audition, and it looked to me like they took slightly fewer than half, although I wasn't counting!

taxi4ballet
So - rehearsals in Oxford are now in full swing, DD enjoying herself immensely, spending time with friends and making new ones, coming home tired but happy each evening, and only one blister so far How's everyone else getting on?
dancelikenobodyswatching
It's DD first time with EYB. She is really enjoying herself. Loving the whole experience! Less time en pointe than expected so far, so no blisters yet. No doubt they will spend more and more time en pointe once they have learnt all the dances.
