I am extremely happy to see this Gala next Sunday.  The program is fantastic and the cast of ballet stars is like a dream for me.

Please report back.  I am quite jealous that you are getting to see this gala.

Some great names dancing. Short program though for a gala only 7 pieces but I suppose if the pieces are actually longer then it's more bang for your buck. Would love to see Wagman. Would have loved to see it.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the World Ballet Stars gala in Geneva, at the Théâtre du Léman. The concert was focused on classical ballet, which I welcomed. The dramaturgy was great, the best pas de deux was included at the end of both parts of the evening. The first of these was the bedroom pdd from Manon performed by Dorothée Gilbert and Hugo Marchand. The chemistry that works in this couple is incredible. I can't wait to see them both next week in Paris for the premiere of Manon at the Palais Garnier. The second highlight of the gala was the grand pas classique with Fumi Kaneko and Vadim Muntagirov, the absolutely technically perfect performance aroused enthusiasm in the audience.
The performance of Shale Wagman in pdd Flammes de Paris was also amazing for me. His amazing jumps are out of this world. Overall, I am more than excited about this gala. And a special bonus was meeting all the dancers at the stage door and having Vadim's book signed by the author before the official signings in London.
