Why would they skip days 😭😭

I’ll be driving home shortly. That’s 45mins I won’t be able to refresh!!

And if they skip a day. That means it might be Eastleigh tomorrow and Leeds might not be until Monday which is just too cruel. 😟

Luckily DD has no idea the results are due 😥

    I don’t feel lucky. I feel like a mess. 😂

They’ve skipped days in the past, e.g. last year.

This audition was on 13th May, exactly a month ago in Eastleigh... it seems like ages ago.

Why would they skip days 😭😭

It’s so easy to get all tangled up, isn’t it.

I’ve sworn so many times I won’t stress or obsess about this. Told myself over and over again that it’s totally OK either way. I actually believe it too. Usually. And look at me now. LOL.

Me too and I’ve been so calm until Newcastle results came out and now I’m a ball of nerves.

I know in my heart it will be a no and thats ok. DD will be ok as she loves her Sat dance classes and we’ve got a few other auditions things coming up which will hopefully result in good news. But it doesn’t stop me wishing for a good result for her and now I just want to know so I can stop stressing 😂😂

When Eastleigh comes out you’ll know it from me within seconds.

You here are the only people I can share it with, as I keep my email refresh obsession secret from everyone else in my life and DD is at school till late today. 😉

I am exactly the same. Although DD isn’t at school late and I’ll probably have picked her up by the time Leeds come out if they do today.

I feel as though my heart is beating out of my chest today.

So glad there is someone to share the nerves with as not everyone gets in in real life and makes me feel like a pushy mum!

Geez, they’re not rushing these emails out are they... 😭

    On the edge about Eastleigh.

They aren’t are they 😟. I’m not even waiting for Eastleigh but Leeds and I feel quite sick today.

I keep refreshing to see if Eastleigh are out so I know Leeds are imminent as I don’t think I’ll sleep again tonight if they don’t come out today 😭

Keeping my my fingers crossed for everyone x

Manchester results are out and its a no for my DD :( I hope she isn't too disappointed when I tell her.

This was for a year 6 place. Good luck to everyone still waiting xx

Sorry for your DD. Hope she is ok when you tell her x

    YES!!!!!! She got a yes!!!!!!

Wow this is fantastic. Well done to your DD.

    Son or Daughter? Daughter
    Birthday? September (beginning)
    Year applied for? 4
    Auditioned in? Leeds
    For a place in? Leeds
    Second choice? Newcastle
    Applied before? No
Any other centres? Applying for ballet boost in a couple of weeks and EYB on Tues

Any other info? As much as I am dreaming I cannot honestly believe we’ll get a place. DD seems to fit the body type and although has some hyper mobile joints isn’t really flexible plus she was at the end of an injury recovery at the time of audition (and was also poorly bless her)

I haven't dared post in here much for fear of tempting fate (and trying not to obsess) but what I can’t get my head round is why when the stats for getting in are so tiny, there are so many yes’s on these threads

I’ve therefore decided the thread must be a good luck charm 😁

I’m glad it makes sense. I wasn’t sure if I was just being confusing 😂! The chances are slim, but someone has to get in and you don’t loose anything by trying 😊

It made perfect sense 😁 I’d just assumed there were 3 classes.

Yes I think the chances are very very slim!!!!! 😁

I can only really comment about Totnes as that’s where my daughter is a JA, but I believe that’s the case. I would also say they would take up to 16 - DD JA1 class currently has 12. Last yr at Totnes they took 4 yr 4s and 3 yr 5s in to that class. (The rest of the class are yr 5s who were yr4 JAs last year.)

Thank you @Darkbeans this makes sense... and also makes DDs chance even smaller 😳

I guess because they are auditioning for a place in the same class? - The JA1 class is a year 4/5 class.

Oh ok, so there isn’t potentially 16 y4 places? (Think I saw this in the YouTube introduction, that there was approx 16 places, obviously boys and girls) but 16 JA1 places?

  12. Does anyone know, why when they have so many groups they mix ages? There were 4 groups at DDs audition and she was in with 3 friends, 2 for year 4 places and 1 for year 5. I couldn’t work out why they weren’t split?

Lovely for dd and her friends to be together though.

Anyone know how many auditions to go? And, have they given any indication in these recent ones when results will be out please?

Good luck to those still to audition

    Thank you x

At DDs audition they said results out end of June.

Dd had to do improv sat with crossed legs and had to be a butterfly coming out of its cocoon.

  14. Anybody else at the Leeds session today? DD was in the 12-1pm

    group.

She really enjoyed it and it was very similar to the descriptions above.

Just the waiting game now but I’ve tried to keep our expectations low so that the next few weeks aren’t an angst ridden ride!!!

  15. We received our email for Leeds on Friday for 17th May. The 1st Leeds date (10th May) has been cancelled.

I can’t remember if it was the email itself or the code of conduct document that said results would be out in June.
