  1. Fab. We’re in Leeds. Just a baby though DD has just finished year 4 x
  2. Aww congratulations @Whiteduvet I can’t help with Manchester times though sorry x
  3. Congratulations for SWL. Fingers crossed a place comes available x
  4. It’s really tricky isn’t it. Our centre wasn’t mentioned in the email so I don’t know if that’s good or bad. I’m still hoping we’ll be back in the studio in some form but how it will work I don’t know. As there haven’t been auditions for the new intake yet, classes will be smaller which might help. DD will start Ballet Boost on a Sunday in Sept so I’m hoping that RBS will be able to stay on a Saturday. I know DD will not be ready to give up on RBS yet so we will have to make it work in whatever way they offer. I’m hoping though that they can sort zoom rather then pre recorded lessons if they can’t get in the studio. The children need the interaction.
  5. Aww thank you @TinyNEDancer I should have said. I received the email earlier. DD is joining lower mids in Hull x
  6. Congratulations @Leapinggirls and @Horsellian 👍👍 x
  7. Oh that’s great news. Fingers crossed then x
  8. Hello. We submitted our video quite early so got told DD had a place but don’t know what class and haven’t received any enrolment forms or anything. I thought today we might have received it all today but we haven’t had anything yet. I wonder if because they’ve had so many they’ve slipped the 3rd July date?
  9. I think it’s so sad to hear this. I agree the lessons were poor. As DD is only. Year 4, soon to be year 5, I suppose I feel it’s just a blip and we’ll get back to normal soon and continue our journey as a JA x
  10. I think DD will do the zoom classes if it comes to it especially if it’s her usual teacher, she didn’t enjoy the pre recorded though. But I wonder what will happen with fees as they won’t be getting the full 2 1/2 hrs! I'm hoping that, as another parent pointed out, the fact that our centre wasn’t mentioned, might be good news.
  11. Yes it didn’t have any info about our centre at all. The email started well and then nothing 😢
  12. I’m sure they’re all being viewed fairly. Ballet Boost have said in their Facebook and insta posts that they are viewing every single submission but they’ve had lots so it’s taken time. I know those that are current students have received their classes for next year. I’m still waiting to find out times and class for DD.
  13. Fab News @Bluebird22 which centre have they applied for? DD is Hull and we’re now just waiting for time and classes etc.
  14. Ours was 3 weeks but we submitted ours quite early on. Friends had a response back within a couple of days. Good luck
  15. I don’t know what age you are auditioning for but for the juniors you don’t need a huge amount of space. The centre adage needs the most movement but it’s not a huge amount. Is the garden a possibility?
  16. Hello. We did the video auditions. We didn’t have teacher help to actually video but I did send them to be checked and following a few corrections re videod before submitting them.
  17. For ballet boost, they send you the content appropriate for age. I think Seniors was more suggested content but for younger ones it was pre recorded so watch and repeat.
  18. Finally our results came through 😁. First exam for DD and very pleased. I was thinking the worst 😳.
  19. I stand corrected DD took her exam on 19th March not the 17th x
