Hi, My ds is 11. Let me know if you would like them to get in touch before then. Does your son have a phone or perhaps a zoom call? For Spring intensive we did a zoom call with a couple of boys from this forum before that week. I know  a couple of boys going that are currently year 5. I am sure they will have a great time.

    Thanks

My DS is week 1 also. He’s a Y5 JA at Birmingham.

Ps this is all new to us and we are trying to think how best to prepare for it! Very exciting though! 🙂

Here is the boys list from 2019, and also list of linens.

It happened to my DD. She got to finals for Y7 & Y8 but no place. Then two weeks into the September term she was offered the opportunity to join her year group for an assessment class with Mr Parker. She started at the school following the half term of Y8. So yes it does happen.

That’s so wonderful! Congratulations to your DD! 😃

Congratulations Everyone! It took me most of the afternoon to process and letting it sink in. My DS has been offered a year 7 place. I am also very pleased about the new programme structure.

I have been posting very publicly on here, lol, please let me know if anyone would like to start a whatsapp group for year 7 entry?

Congratulations to everyone again for enduring this rollercoaster ride...though I know it is only the beginning..

Congratulations to your DS @Lara Eschler! That’s wonderful news! So happy for you and him! xxx
