My dd is the same year 5 place but small for her age She wears age 7 in next and between a 5-6 and 7-8 river island She wears a 6-7 in the mirella Leo range The size 1 bags in places so is quite big in her It's a different material to her others and defiantly a lot bigger than her others Hope that helps ? X

I ordered dd a size 1 it's arrived today and is far too big for her ? Will have to order the 0 Not sure if to send this one back or save it for next year ! Have I read correctly they still end of year 6 once they have a place ? X

I also wondered why the school report ? I've gone for a 1 in Leo and medium in pants She has her normal one and BBO both of which are a 1 and her other pants are medium so hopefully they are a similar fit X

My DD also loves them and had a brill time at the dance days ! It is a shame she had mentioned him a few times ! I'm not sure they were in same group at dance days with her being 9. X

I think he is friends with my DD from scholars and dance days ! She has been telling me about him Wishing him lots of luck ? x

I don't suppose any of your son's who are starting hammonds in year 7 this sept have just finished their BBO scholarship ? X

Does anybody know the Birmingham times? Although I believe it's under review x

What are the Elmhurst classes like? Just ballet ? Are they being reviewed ? Do you think they will stay weekly ? We are waiting for Birmingham I'm expecting no but the waiting is awful x

Thank you Its an amazing opportunity for her. I think there are so many contributing factors between now and vocational school we can't let that affect her now and if they are willing to take a chance on her we are more than willing to do it for her ? I have no background in dance so feel clueless a lot of the time . X

They called to say she had stood out and in her dancing ticked all the boxes But they are concerned about her proportions at this time and in the future she may be advised not to audition for vocational school due to this Was bitter sweet really As it's amazing they want to give her the opportunity to join their young dancers scheme but quite disheartening at the same time She is tiny, and is yet to have a 'growth spurt' so who knows Her teacher and others have never heard of such correspondence, so all in all I'm taking it as a good thing

We have had a yes for year 5 place at Elmhurst Although along side a phone call about proportions has anyone heard of this before ?

Just a quick question about proportions At this age will proportions be chosen over ability?
