Height for girls in Year 11 - restricted?

Twoleftfeet, I feel your concerns - my dd is also small at 5ft 2 in year 11, and in the middle of auditions. Have you tried any uk schools and which European ones said she was too small? -
I’m not sure why the wait is so long as the auditions were quite a while back, would they not just decide whilst at the auditions?

Guess that’s not a lot in comparison to finals at other schools!

How many normally go to finals at rcs? I’d be interested to know how the ballet compares to that of the northern ballet course? Thanks

Hmm as I thought may be case making it too late catch train for finals next day! Some of these finals seem so close together this year.

Thanks blueLou. Can you recall what time it was all done by in the last day? Dc has finals other side of country next day which may not make in time if finishes late and need to see if worth applying for first before parting with the hefty £85 to apply .

Stay strong and positive Arucariaballerina! It’s such a journey and especially hard whilst studying for GCSEs too. Well done for finals for KS dance, have they told you how tall they would like you to be? It’s good they understand you may not be at your finished height yet, Sometimes things are just out of out hands and we cannot control our body shape or height, hard to accept especially when you are a beautiful dancer too. Wishing you all the luck with the rest of your auditions!
