  1. Well done to your DD CBA is amazing I love it so much. Has anyone got results from assessments yet they said this week but still haven't got an email??
  2. I wear 3a and wear moi xs and in my central dans-ez leotard I'm a small but my petite does still fit hope this helps
  3. I think you have to just go with your gut. I just wanted to say that it is possible to still get lots of training whilst being at a normal school. I couldn't go to vocational school due to finances so I go to a state school and do lots of training during the week and associates on weekends so still have just as much training as some of my friends at full time school. The only thing that is hard is doing so much homework when I am always travelling to dance. I wouldn't have it any other way though and love being so busy. I think it just depends on what your DD wants but if like me you cannot afford it, it is still possible to get just as much training sometimes with a lot more GCSE's at the end.
  4. I don't think the grades really matter as long as there is enough training at the right standard but if it helps when I was 11 I was doing Grade 6+7 ballet and intermediate (RAD) and grade 4 tap and modern. I was doing about 9 hours of ballet a week and 1 hour tap modern contemporary and Pilate's. I am quite a serious ballet dancer so do two associate schemes. I hope this helps but again if your DD is happy and doing enough training at the correct level then I don't think grades really matter.
  5. I was wondering if anyone knows the difficulty of the ybss audition and what you do?? Also do any of you know the odds of getting a scholarship?? Thanks in advance
  6. There is also midland theatre ballet where you do classes and reahersals every Sunday for a performance in spring, it is held at Elmhurst and BRB but I think auditions may be over for this year.
