morning audition for dd.
-
ordered on Tuesday....arrived today. Hurrah!!!!!
-
it has been dd's choice to go ahead with auditions. if she doesn't get funding, she can't go either.
-
good advice...I shall bear it in mind
-
great advice hfbrew! will bear it in mind....if she is offered more than one.....
-
we haven't heard either
-
It's really hard. We are auditioning for a variety of places and are kind of hoping something will turn up...probably very naïve and potentially disappointing for dd but she knows the score and wants to go ahead........makes me feel bit sick to be honest
-
going to see it on Saturday at the Curve. Can't wait x

Not sure if this is the sort of thing one posts on here.....but I wondered how many leotards a full time vocational student might need.......just in case dd becomes one!!!!???? No rush. only one audition down...5 to go!!

I agree..talk to all parties concerned. Personally I would give up the panto and go with Tring.

it is beautiful. -
I know they are ALL competitive but I meant relatively speaking.........

Anyone know anything much about Rambert? Is that really hard to get in too????

£7, 425 per term which includes accommodation. They dance 6 days a week and are expected to do 2 A levels from a selection of choices....I think!!! It all looks amazing though.
-
I think that A levels are compulsory. The fees aren't huge but they are fees!! the school offers help to some students, My DD has an audition next week (eek) and will only be able to go (if she gets in) with help with the fees. I feel very sad that we can't just send her......but we are reliant on scholarships or loans etc. Great to hear that others here have DC at the school and recommend it.....very heartening. My DD will need to board as we live too far away to commute! all very scary.

Swanprincess...it is A levels. School sorts the accommodation. Contact them directly for audition info.

the Doreen wells course costs a lot It is residential and brilliant teaching so I have been told but it is very pricey.£900 ish (I may be mistaken but I am sure that is what my friend said)
