salamander
Does anyone know whether Kobborg will be dancing in Onegin as he was replaced last night by Steven McRae in the Nutcracker ?
John Mallinson
I think only Mr Kobborg knows that.
Naomi M
Johan Kobborg is replaced by Jason Reilly of Stuttgart Ballet on 19th and 23rd http://www.roh.org.uk/events/k8vc3
toursenlair
Goodness, it's the invasion of the Canadian guests at the ROH, first Jason and then Matthew Golding.
alison
Well spotted, Naomi, since the ROH doesn't yet seem to have deemed it worthy of an actual mention in the News features (or perhaps the online team had other fish to fry today). I'm moving this into the news section, as it seems better suited there now.
alison
Does anyone know whether the casting for tomorrow is actually as advertised on the ROH website? I'd like to believe it, but since one performance is also fluctuating between "SOLD OUT" and "100+" tickets available I'm hesitant to believe anything on there. Nina G.
ROH/RB website really should get their act together and update casting as soon as changes are known to them. Also, the bio's of all dancers should be on their website (IMO)
Anna C
I've asked both ENB and the ROH if we could please have bios of all dancers (including Artists) on their websites. "We are working on it for the future" was the reply.
alison
Thanks, BBB. ROH/RB website really should get their act together and update casting as soon as changes are known to them. Nina, I totally agree with you. If there's a replacement cast, it should be announced.
Bruce Wall
Getting back a little on topic ... I understand that Mr. Koburg - who did NOT dance this evening - will be replaced by Mr. Reilly (who only ever gets better in the role with Alina) at the matinee on Saturday. This was apparently told by Mr. Reilly himself.
alison
Thanks, Meunier. I think I'll have a little play around and see if I can move some of the other comments into the ROH website thread, where they'd find a better home. The thread's here: http://www.balletcoforum.com/index.php?/topic/793-the-new-roh-website/

I understand that Mr. Koburg - who did NOT dance this evening - will be replaced by Mr. Reilly (who only ever gets better in the role with Alina) at the matinee on Saturday. This was apparently told by Mr. Reilly himself. Johan Kobborg tweeted tonight: "I am out for a looooong time". He expressed surprise that the ROH hadn';t changed the casting on the website, and for that matter so did the ROH's official tweeter. The right hand not knowing what the left is doing?
