zxDaveM
I noticed today that Carlos Acosta's Cubania on sale. Top price tickets £80; SCS places - £12!! Hope that's not the shape of things ro come for next season...
A frog
Isn't this programme effectively not part of the Royal Ballet programme? There aren't any day tickets either which is usually a sign.
zxDaveM
this is true - but the expensive seats are cheaper, where the cheap seats go up.
alison
If it's an external promoter, it doesn't mean anything. I hope.
Bruce Wall
Won't be surprised to see them raise the prices with the next season - as they already know that they have a progressive (if relatively small) cut over the next two years and may well have more in the next core funded revision review - given that the IMF have already estimated that there need to be 14% cuts overall in the next parliament. Jan McNulty
I've just found this Stage article via twitter. While not ballet specific it makes a good case for cheaper seats: http://www.thestage.co.uk/opinion/shenton/2015/02/welcome-to-the-cheap-seats-if-you-can-find-one/?utm_content=buffer9583a&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
annamk
I never seem to be able to buy any stalls circle standing anyway only day queue or odd ones that pop up on the RoH website. These days you need niftier fingers than mine on public booking day or to be a super high level RoH supporter.
