Baker45
Seriously how do they get away with this sort of stuff?? It just puts a bad light on the whole art. Maybe this sort of thing happened 20 years ago but just be clear this has never been a thing since mine has been through the system https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/25332642/royal-ballet-schoolditches-daily-weigh-ins/
alison
Perhaps people who know better should deluge The Sun with complaints? Just because a fictitious company was doing it back 12 years ago is irrelevant to schools' practices. (And what would be the point of doing it daily anyway? There wouldn't be massive changes).
Sim
I am not the slightest bit surprised at this, coming from the Sun. What a load of rubbish.
Jan McNulty
I'm from Liverpool and I don't read the Sun. #don'treadthesun #don'tbuythesun #JFT97
Emeralds
I regard The Sun as the purveyor of false info and false gossip. Would be more worried if they reported something truthfully, to be honest!
Ruby Foo
My daughter was at RBS 5 years. She was weighed at the beginning and end of every term. Surely no one takes anything the Sun prints seriously! 😳

And I'm not from Liverpool. #JFT97 indeed.

Roberta
The wonderful Brian Cathcart on The Sun. https://bylinetimes.com/2023/07/12/the-bbc-presenter-scandal-every-editor-and-reporter-who-helped-promote-the-suns-story-should-feel-shame/ Coruscating. The press in this country is a national shame, as is the sham of a press regulator in IPSO. We should have had Leveson 2 and it was cancelled.
DVDfan
I agree that many journalists need to act more responsibly, and I think that the law probably needs to be strengthened around the harassment of private individuals who have the misfortune to come to their attention. But I think we should bear in mind that journalists also do good work, as in the cases of the cot death mothers and the sub-post masters scandal. By the way, I don't read the Sun either.
