What a tantalising clip of such a historic ballet. I'm sure the RB staged it not too long ago (10 years?). it would be great to see it again.

Time flies - the RB last did A Wedding Bouquet in 2004! 

 

I last saw it in Sarasota in 2016 with Barry Wandsworth narrating.  Thoroughly enjoyable (in a double bill with Jazz Calendar).

Am I right in thinking Dowell has narrated it? I was hoping he'd refer to Wedding Bouquet when he was asked which role he might return to the stage for, during the fascinating Q&A in the first Sarasota streaming.

Sheila, I saw him do the narration with the Joffrey at NY City Center.  He was a total delight.
