Jan McNulty
It has been announced that Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns died yesterday (23rd October). In my youth I often used to see him out and about in Liverpool. He was a larger than life character and has left the world too young. RIP http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-37755445

Balletfanp
How sad - one of the characters of my youth. I read his autobiography a few years ago - he had a very messed up youth (his mother was completely loopy) but had a genuinely big heart.
Lisa O`Brien
OMG how sad. I'm only just reading this. At the time ,being a mad Culture Club fan , I thought Pete Burns was gorgeous. He had a very powerful voice too. RIP.

Sim
Such a shame what he did to himself. I hope that he is now at peace. RIP to Bobby Vee, who also died yesterday, age 73.
