  1. Pantuso (not Pantsuit as autocorrect would have it) came to many’s attention in the RBS main stage performance in 2021 when she was the Stop Time Rag girl (white costume with pink crossings and stars) in Elite Syncopations (and was on the programme cover).
  2. If we become aware of anyone selling tickets through this website in excess of their face value, the ticket exchange will be closed.
  3. Might I suggest you contact the ROH to let them know you are not receiving these emails? They may be able to help.
  4. I'm not sure the price of tickets has any bearing on whether a show is suitable for children or how they behave (or whether a venue is "prestigious", which to me sounds awfully like "elitist"). After all, a top price ticket for The Lion King*, just down the road from the ROH, is more expensive than a top price ticket for Swan Lake. *info from the SOLT 2023 ticket price survey (via The Stage)
  5. There is a step between the two double doubles (a quad double would be ridiculously impressive)
  6. I have stalls A10 & A11 available for this performance in the Linbury. Face value of the tickets is £23 each; please PM if interested.
  7. Sorry, misread the question. Here is a lovely example, from the RB's very own James Hay.
  8. I have SCS D26 available for this evening’s show. Face value is £14; please PM if interested.
  9. It's only 5 days after the Proms announcement and they start in the middle of July...
  10. It was a quote within a quote (i.e. Angela quoted from Emeralds post quoting lady emily). I have put a note on this in the original post and as Angela has apologised, I think we can leave that and move on.
  11. The nominations have been announced and a full list can be found here.
  12. As I don’t think I’m quite ready to stand for a 3 hour slog, I have SCS D26 available for 15 March. Face value is £14, please PM if interested (and apologies if there is a delay in my response as I’m currently on holiday).
  13. I’ve seen electronic posters in a bust central London tube station, featuring Núñez in Requiem.
  14. It is worth remembering that Balanchine himself revised bits of this pd2 depending on who was dancing so, whilst there may be an original version, there is no definitive version.
  15. If you are unable to understand why an organisation might use a targeted offer campaign then I really feel sorry for you. Your supermarket analogy only confirms that organisations do use such things. I get Nectar price offers from Sainsbury’s that are specifically targeted at me based on my shopping habits, sometimes on things I want to buy, sometimes on things I don’t usually buy but might (they hope) be tempted to. It is very clear that you are unhappy that you did not receive a targeted offer from the ROH. I didn’t receive it either but I am not unhappy about the situation because I understand what they are doing. However, your multiple posts on the topic are, IMO, getting very close to spamming the board so I would ask that you stop now (and I know others would agree with me making this request).
  16. There are loads of pictures of Different Drummer to be found online, some particularly wonderful ones of Ed Watson & Leanne Benjamin.
  17. The alternative to multiple tabs is to bookmark each production page or, as I prefer, the calendar at the month in which most of the performances being booked fall.
  18. Having more than one tab open is definitely not the recommended procedure - the ROH advise the opposite and to have only one tab open. Not logging in before 0850 is recommended to avoid recognition issues when tickets are released.
