  1. I can’t blame you. I think the sisters had a few too many drinks at the flower show and turned into flowers.
  2. Yeah I doubt it but I can still dream that he is and for La Fille Mal Gardée.
  3. Kevin O‘hare had this in the plans for a while now, Asking Tom Pye to design sets for Cinderella in 2018 (If I’ve got my facts right) and he’s probably had it in the plans for longer than that. I always wonder if Kevin O’hare is looking at this forum, at this very moment, considering La Fille Mal Gardée. It’s extremely unlikely, but still possible.
  4. I feel sorry for the Fairy Godmother, she got her the dress (tutu in this case) Carriage and even got the other fairies to come. Sad for the Godmother but Good for Annette, What talent!
  5. It’s a sunny setting with a beautiful story, enjoyable and thoroughly entertaining.
  6. Quite unfortunately really, but understandable. Hopefully there will be another chance for this to come to London sometime soon.
  7. Ok, I’ll look for it. Personally I love the designs but Liam’s Updates are ok… But overall Dowells Production is just way better, Including Yelena Sonnabends designs. Don’t hate me for saying that they are amazing and no one will change my mind. Ok that’s it.
  8. 100% agree but some people might not be able to see that from far away in the theatre.
  9. Insightful article @FLOSS Sadly I don’t see them ever because We can assume that Alex Beard hates it but I just don’t know any ballet fans that would see that. Convent garden would have completely forgot about Petrushka 💀 I wouldn’t mind a Ratmansky Bayadere but only if they keep Yelena Sonnabends Designs. I would love a Nutcracker free Christmas but that’s basically impossible. Alice, Swan Lake and Manon I think are pretty likely. Onegin Is expecting a 2025 revival (hopefully with a brand new production because the original designs are so dated) Also I would be interested to hear your thoughts on Scarlett’s Swan Lake, perhaps here or on a new thread.
  10. Yes I just saw it this morning, thanks for taking about the rest of the article because I have to pay to get access, But from what I could see we know Kunstkamer was cancelled because of the controversy surrounding Marco Geocke. The Times is a sponsor of this tour so it makes sense that they are wrong about this. I wonder if we will ever get an offical Press Release from The Royal Opera House/ The Australian Ballet
  11. They should’ve just announced it then! I hope they do it in 23/24.
  12. Yeah Les Sylphides is 30 mins, La Sylphide is an hour (not including the interval)
  13. Technically this is off/on topic but Paris Opera and Ballet Have recently launched their own streaming service, is this becoming a trend? I wish they would combine so we would not have to buy both but that’s business.
  14. Les Sylphides, La Sylphide are so similar, I assume we are taking about Les Sylphides. They could probably receive both. Also this reminds me that Choe Still isn’t a principal!?
  15. I know Peter and the wolf was a while ago was that in the RBS main stage or the Linbury. Prokofiev’s music is amazing.
  16. But if they were to make a big production I hope they would get John Macfarlane his Giselle, Swan Lake, Royal Operas Magic Flute are stunning. Also his nutcracker for BRB (reproduced by The Australian Ballet) is truly magical.
  17. I don’t know why I thought that but I don’t think they would do that.
  18. Sorry I really need to re read these before posting them. It’s sounds quite harsh saying, I know it was only one evening.
  19. I know it was only one evening. Sorry I forgot to mention South Africa, that’s not part of Europe. Yeah most companies would have been busy because March is mid, peak season.
  20. They have great stagers but if they are bringing this in to the repertoire they might use a big name, maybe a new production to get the ball rolling. I don’t know what they would do but they will either spend loads of money or just use another existing production. Hope something like this happens soon.
  21. Would be great be unlikely. Les Sylphides would be a great addition, wonder if they would get Will Tuckett, Alexi Ratmansky, Johan Koburg or someone else to produce it.
  22. I agree but it could always be better, no that that’s likely that they will get a better selection. I know it’s drafts but it can still be a larger scale event.
