Normally about a month after the deadline

Just checked RBS website; applications close 3rd Mar so hopefully won’t start issuing results until after that. DDs application isn’t in yet 😱

Just wondering if anyone applied for the summer intensive this week? It said in the confirmation email that they’ll send results by end of the next week, this seems very quick, is this going to happen do we think?!
I thought the deadline was sometime early March ?

how wonderful 😊
that is really good to hear. I constantly worry that the photos need to be taken professionally.
my DD is also year 5 and JA from year 4, I took the photos myself with a little advice from her local dance teacher, she got wait list which we are happy with for her first application
I’m sure your DS will love it, what a fantastic opportunity

Welcome @Yellowbutterflywhat centre are you joining?
I’ll have a look back through my emails, I’m sure there was guidelines for the skirt, they are very helpful at the recommended shop -

Thanks, I think the teacher is Miss Krapf. There were no specifics about shoes on the uniform list, just some suggested shoes that you could order but not obligatory. I can't imagine that one brand would fit all students?
The ones we have don’t fit great at all, we just followed the uniform list, may be different across centres and year groups.

In Birmingham they are strict, no split soles as full soles work their feet harder.
they were very specific on the uniform list we received. They all wear the same.

Our first video has been re watched 3 times for 30 seconds each time. I’d love to know which part they’re watching. She has lovely posture and turnout but her flexibility is ‘ok’ better than average but could be better also.
Her froggy isn’t flat which is what concerns me, should it be flat at 8?My DD is a JA, her froggy wasn’t great at all when she auditioned 2019 so I really wouldn’t worry about that 😊

what audition venue have you opted for @Astrid ??

hello @Astrid
thankyou xx

I'd be really interested in that audition vs acceptance analysis too if any of us can find it

@TinyNEDancer which EYB rehearsals are these? DD is considering auditioning for Norwich. Do you know if you can miss any rehearsals? I know with Swan Lake Dreams they allow up to 3 missed rehearsals in the contract.

Do you mean the Birmingham Royal Ballet HQ in Thorp Street?
If so, the world is your Birmingham Oyster!! If you come out of the BRB entrance and turn right - walk down to the corner and turn left. Cross the dual carriageway and pass the Holiday Inn. Ahead on the right is the entrance to John Lewis/Grand Central on top of New Street Station. There's a good choice of eateries on the top level.
If you turn right at the Dual Carriageway and walk up you come to the Bull Ring, again with lots of eating places.
Opposite the Hippodrome Theatre is the Arcadian Centre - there are places to eat and drink in there too but can only comment on Milanos and James Daal, both of which I like.
Yes, many thanks, very helpful
also thanks to @meadowblythe
