  1. I sent an email to RBS about something unrelated to auditions and received an automated response that all White Lodge finals results had been issued and the Mid associate results will be emailed out at the beginning of April. I am assuming that as the JA classes finish this weekend for Easter break it may be sometime in the next few weeks.
  2. Thank you for the advice, had the feedback and it was very useful.
  3. Just wondering if anyone has ever asked for feedback on the audition. I just think the physio assessment might be quite good.
  4. Hi yes they are both JA and from Birmingham xx
  5. We had a no. DD has taken it well, I think she is relieved. She (or us) weren't ready for her to leave home. She is hoping for a Mids place but I think this is going to be as tough. I know of two girls that got a yes!!! We are really pleased for them as they are both stunning.
  6. I have been reading all your comments with interest. Our reason for putting DD forward for associate auditions was that we were constantly being told how talented our DD was not just in dance, but singing and acting. However when school productions came along other children of the same age would be picked for parts which DD had auditioned for. This was becoming detrimental to her confidence and self esteem, we decided to let someone else have a look at her. If the answers came back as no then we would know to manage her expectations. I then started researching what was available in terms of associate programmes. I told the dance teacher what we were doing and they weren't overly enthusiastic just incase a rejection was received and how DD would cope. We decided to go ahead anyway. I took the photos myself in my lounge and we went to the auditions very relaxed, with no expectations. We were absolutely gobsmacked when she received places at Elmhurst and RBS. Part of me felt resentful that DD had never been encouraged to do these auditions but the other part was satisfied that we had taken the time to research and take DD along. Had it been a no I would have felt comfortable lowering DD's expectations. The teachers and school are all very proud of DD.
  7. Congratulations!!! We are in this position too, some suggestions to do both but I think it will be too much. Advice from ballet teachers was to go with RBS but that is what DD wanted to do anyway. We both loved Elmhurst and if it had been a no from RBS DD would still have been happy. Well done once again xx
  8. Thank you for your advice that has been very helpful. She is probably going to do RBS. Good luck with the new school xx
  9. I don't plan on doing both, think it will be too much for DD to handle. She is already dancing 4 nights out of 5. As this will be her first year we are not really sure what to expect xx
  10. I have just had an email regarding the Birmingham results. DD has had a yes for year 6. This was our first time of auditioning so wasn't expecting anything really and know how tough the process is. There were some amazing children and definately thought she didn't stand a chance. DD now has a decision to make as she has also been offered Elmhurst. Good Luck to everyone still waiting xx
  11. Thank you, I suppose the wait goes on
  12. Anyone heard of any results from Birmingham today?
  13. Do the results come by post or email?
  14. We had a yes for year 6, email arrived this morning.
