Yes I don't think they are "fake" as DDs friend got one at an audition. But DD isn't auditioning for royal anytime soon so we're not going to just for a t shirt. We are going to convent garden soon so we will check to see if they still sell them in there!

Sorry to hear about this too SP my eldest daughter who got her results today partly did well because she gave up dance which meant a lot more hours of studying for her

DD likes to watch films etc. when she is stretching as she stretches for a long time each day so I was wondering if anyone knew about any ballet related films that she could watch? ( she's 12 so not ones for 18+ etc). She loved first position the documentary about YAGP.

She did History, law , English and maths

Eldest Daughter -who doesn't dance- is collecting her a-s level results tomorrow! She did very well in her GCSEs (all A and A*) but she has found A-S levels a lot harder and has done a little less revision! Hopefully she will do well though! Hope everyone else's children do well too! Good luck

We are very early to be looking into this but DD thought Opes summer course may be good to do. Although she isn't en pointe (she's 12) and doesn't know whether she has to be as it says one of the classes is pointe. Can anyone tell me whether she can do the course of she isn't en pointe??

DD would love to do this though we are leaving for our holiday on 22nd Aug- what time does the shoot start on this day??

I find porseli dance wear (dancewear.co.uk) to be extremely good! DD had a leotard from Bloch which was £30 and once she grew out of it she found the exact same one on porseli in her size for £12!! The delivery is also very good and we have never had any problems what so ever with it!! Definitely reccomend it!

Thanks for all the comments they have helped a lot! We are going to call RAD tomorrow (hopefully) for advise on classes!!

Oh that's a shame seeing as DD though these would be good to do but she doesn't do the RAD syllabus so couldn't attend classes and she already does dance classes on a Wednesday. Thanks anyway

Was looking at the RAD's "learn to dance" part of their website and saw a class that said pre-vocational ballet and dd would love to do it though it doesn't say when it is how often it happens or any detail on dates! Dd is doing grades 3,4&5 in istd which in rad is the equivalent to grade 4,5&6 though she hasn't been in the equivalent of G6 rad for long. Should she do the grade 4&5 class or 6,7&8??

Sorry just searched for it again and it says that the page cannot be found so either my iPad is playing up or they have canceled the class DD wanted to go to. But we have now decided that £75 is too much for a class that is practically the same as her ones at her normal dance school! So DD isn't going to do it

Dd wanted to do one day at the istd summer course , but you pay £70 per day and that seemed an awful lot for one class!! Does anyone know how long the classes are and if they are any good?? DD is doing the recover class of G3+G4 imperial classical ballet!

DD is doing the RAD "associate" classes which are four masterclasses - one each month - from sept-dec! Does anyone know if they are any good she is doing either group B or C and is doing the Kent classes! Please help.
