hi i agree fully with u Amber21 this was my DD first experience of EYB who was also a cygnet this group was a very tight group and performed excellent and all the group enjoyed the show infact they were all in tears when it ended. I liked the spanish dancers and the little mirinskys in the little mirinskys group they all put there heart and soul into the performance . The swans also looked very beautifull and danced well. The production was lovley to watch and it was great to have as many boys taken part.

hi star dancer in my opinion it depends what you get at casting to see if your DD will be challanged enough although if people drop out it gives some a chance to do two parts which can be an advantage especially for older girls meaning sixteen plus.

ah thats good to hear Kathy G as my oldest DD is wanting to do her A levels first at her currant school .

EYB mostly do venues every two years .

Yes what a fantastic production costumes beautifull all the CHILDREN worked very hard and we too are looking forward to the DVD. The time will fly by and before we no it EYB will be back xx

No places will be offered until the deadline is over i am sure there will be a huge waiting list anyhow because the numbers are very low who they take for MA places the numbers are dramaticaly slashed from JA to MA so places are like gold dust.

The JA Audition is a very simple class from what i can remember skips streatches and some high jumps it is best to treat the audition as a experience and let the children enjoy it. It takes quiet a while for the letters to arrive so my DD had almost forgot and it was a nice surprise when she got a yes .

Both of my DD have now been through this experience I agree with Amber21 its a great experience from the audition to the final outcome It also gives children a insight at what is it like to be in a full classicsal production and all the hard work it takes along the way .
