    Thanks Lema, DD is totally fine about it. She was so happy to get finals for Elmhurst and had said that was her first choice school before we got the result for royal anyhow. She also said, I can always try again next year if I decide I want to. Congrats to the yeses on here!

    Summer school results are starting to trickle in/out. The email sending dragon must have woken!

    I thought you could just tick the MAs box but not WL. I'm sure I was told that by the woman at the JA office too. Just heard of two girls from dd's dance school through to WL finals, one for yr 8 and one for yr 9. Both auditioned in London. Soooooo, MUST be Manchester today, and London yr 7 tomorrow. Then Birmingham would be the only ones left to come, so guessing Wednesday latest OutofmyDepth. Come on Royal, we know you're dying to send all those emails out!!!

    Oh yes, you're right SDM, I remember that now. They didn't say how she had got in though, so whether it was through audition rounds or Summer school, which is sometimes the case I think.

    Sorry, don't know Balletqueen but one person was offered a place in year 8 last year. She used to go to my daughter's associates, and from what I heard she had never got into JAs (or WL yr 7), but then they offered her a full time place for year 8! So, just goes to show you NEVER know what will happen, and it seems sometimes they suddenly decide they want someone who previously had no success there. One thing I have learned about Royal is there is no point trying to predict what they will or won't do. Just go with it if it happens. And I guess equally if you don't try you will never know if they would have!

    Is all quiet on the Royal front today?? Perhaps they quite exhausted themselves yesterday with the flurry of results ... I'm guessing Monday or Tuesday for London yr 7 results.

    You should be proud of her lema- she sounds very mature in her response. Yes it is hard to know what has changed in a year, but perhaps the fact that there are so few places in the older years has a bearing on it. Fingers crossed for rbs now!
