I wish Donnelly was getting more roles involving acting/lead characters in general. I've been very impressed by his acting as Lensky, Hilarion & Paris and he always catches my eye when he's in groups or the ensemble.
I wish so too and would like to see Donnelly and Hay take on Drosselmeyer.
Both are very fine dancers and I'd hate to lose them in any soloist dance roles but think they'd both be excellent Drosselmeyers and bring their je ne sais quoi to that role.

Dont they always swop fans?
Yes, they do. She snatches her friend’s fan and then exchanges (for her own ?) after her solo.

I really quite liked tonight's performance. I'm calling it performance as, just like Tech-shows on Broadway, The Limit's preview performances are open to the public (unlike ROH Friends Rehearsals).
I went in to The Limit without any expectations, though I had attended the Insight evening, and was really rather taken with the piece.
Alexander Campbell and Francesca Hayward work so well together and both are great actors, telling whole stories with just their facial expressions.
The set is quite stark (see photo), general lighting and overhead neon lights are used in a clever way. The musicians sit where Side Stalls right would normally be. Alexander and Francesca remain on the stage the entire 75 minutes.
The music is really nice and for the most part doesn't interfere with the dancers speaking, it's generally either speech or music.
I am looking forward to seeing Hannah Rudd and Jacob Wye tomorrow afternoon and then Francesca and Alexander once more in the evening.

I'm so sorry for interfering. I've removed my photos from Saturday. The Nunez/Muntagirov ones must be from different performances so I hope it's okay to leave those but if not then I'll have to ask a moderator to delete as it's too late for me to do so.
@Dawnstar I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to take any photos down, I just pointed you to my little series I had also shared in case it had been overlooked

Hi Michelle,
Would you alternatively be interested in a standing ticket (D-25) for the Rudd/Wye cast on Saturday 28th Oct matinee?
Happy to swap with your 21st Oct matinee if it works for you.
Many thanks,
Silke

(Is "AROS" a thing now then)?😂
I’ve been using that abbreviation for quite some time but it really seems to be catching on 😊

I cannot book for tomorrow as well! I just MUST NOT! 😱
2 SCS just available (D-6 and D-7) I've stood there before and they're pretty okay

It is now
Was looking for tickets to see what everyone was raving about. Had the prices been more reasonable I was going to take a punt but too expensive (for me) for dancers I'm not really interested in.
Ticket returns now popping up on the ROH, currently prices from £14. you might want to keep checking

I am so sorry for Steven to be injured again, and sorry for Anna Rose to miss her show. I really hope Steven's injury is nothing too serious. His partnership with AROS is really lovely. I wish him a speedy recovery.
However, the alternate cast for tomorrow is such a treat!

By the way, does anyone know what the correct pronunciation is for Anemoi? A-ne-moy? A-ne-mwah (last syllable like the French moi)? Something else? I thought I had better check in advance given I was blithely pronouncing Les Noces the wrong way & had no idea until a pre-performance chat with @LinMM when she pronounced it completely differently!
As per Valentino Zucchetti when asked about it during an Insight when it was first staged it is pronounced Anemi (like me or tea) but he said that he anticipated everyone to pronounce it Anemoy.

Interesting the dancers are talking rather than acting to a soundtrack like The Statement.
it sounds like it'll be another case of the MacGregor: dancers moving, music playing but neither really having anything to do with the other.
Like Kristen McNally said herself that she would have choreographed some things very differently had she had the music to those segments before.
I also wonder how much we will still be able to hear the dancers speak once the music is added.

I would've liked Isabella Gasparini been given the opportunity. Especially since she just recently danced Kitri in Brazil. She would have been a good height match for Luca, too.
