This is a reply to Cookie Monster!! Congratulations your dd is amazing!! For a start to get into year 4 she's done brilliant!! I'm talking to you from previous experience!! My dd was offered a year 4 place with 24 sessions!! She was offered year 5 with 36, but we chose 24 again, and stayed at 24 for year 6!! We are now on our way to watch our dd at the summer fair at white lodge as a year 7!! So don't listen to anyone and enjoy your time!! Even now I miss our trips to Covent Garden!! ????????????????????????????????????

Hi Angel/ Harwel, I didn't realise you could claim uniform fees back!! Where do you send the receipts to?!?! Could either of you expand on this?! ????????

From a personal point of view, I know for a fact that the year 7 DC have worked extremely hard to pass their appraisal this year!! That's why none of them have been assessed out, because they all passed!! Believe me the assessment procedure is very real and the pressure on both the kids and the parents is extreme!! It's a fantastic achievement to get to finals and never give up hope, but also the DC in year 7 have worked so hard to get there too!! As for places, if they like what they see they will often make room! There are currently 13 year 8 girls !!

Massive hugs for the no's, fab news for the yes's!! It's definitely an emotional roller coaster!! It brings back fantastic but scary memories from last year!! My DD got to finals for Tring, Elmhurst and Royal????. Yes it's a brilliant place to be, but if you think waiting for letters is traumatic now, just wait for finals!! Hold onto your seats, because you're going on a massive ride!!!!

My DD is going to White Lodge in September and reading these comments are quite unsettling!! I understand that things are changing, but do you know what, it might result in being the best thing!! Nothing is going to dull our excitement ???? x

My DD got her dream letter today, getting in to White Lodge! We are all shell shocked and can't quite believe it and so far hasn't really sunk in!! We are so sorry for the nos, but you are all amazing dancers and don't let anybody tell you otherwise!! We've met loads of lovely people on route through this long process and we wish everyone the best of luck with whatever they choose to do xx ????

We have decided to go to the Elmhurst finals instead! Dd a bit disappointed about not being able to do the Theatre Arts, but she can't do the impossible!! Good luck to your Dd at Tring, it's a fantastic place!! Luckily the Tring dance funding audition doesn't clash with anything else, she's really looking forward to that ????
