Hello! My DD is starting year 5 in Birmingham. Does anyone know if they run a year 4/5 class then a separate year 6 class as JAs? I wonder if they’ll delay the start slightly this year given all that needs to be sorted.

Agree all our DC have been superstars given the situation which has been less than ideal to put it mildly! Special mention to @LilyLongLegs and her DD for a heroic audition - don’t know how you managed!

Sounds like your DD has had a super year getting into JAs, Ballet Boost etc. Big things ahead for sure and I’d chalk Elmhurst up to experience, especially given zoom etc. Well done to her.

For everyone still waiting, I know that the year 7 results came through at about 10:30pm so still a chance that you will hear today! Huge well done to those with a yes and commiserations to those with a not yet - they’re all still so young so much can change in the future x

It’s a yes for year 5 Birmingham for us too! Very surprised after the audition catastrophe 😊 Fingers crossed those waiting for year 6 results hear soon!

My DD, 10 next year, will be at Malvern. She hasn’t been before (though was booked in for both Easter and summer this year) but sounds such a lovely week!

Bit of a disaster for DD 😩 She went wrong on a couple of exercises and just didn't feel she performed well. Oh well - CBA and JAs still to come!

I know that some auditioning for year 7 last Saturday found out late Monday night! Did you DC have to take their shoes off at any point? Have the sock glue ready for tomorrow but worried about using if they do.

Just reading this - the space that DD usually dances in has a huge window behind her which makes her look a bit silhouettey. Might try and hang something behind her. All this stress over a zoom 😂
