Just testing our set up before filming tomorrow - to those who used a laptop linked up to a screen did the very slight time delay pose any issues? Well done to all who have had their results so far. Such a strange time to be auditioning and sounds like there are fewer places than usual so everyone has done brilliantly!

I've seen a year 4 yes for a girl DD follows on Instagram. Seems VERY few places this year - not even sure i can be bothered to film our audition this weekend 😂

DD is wearing split soles at the moment as the mandated shoes are STILL on back order. Nothing been said.

Group 4 is due 19th October. What areas does group 2 cover? I wonder if they are considering children from London for other centres if they have indicated them as a second choice and vice versa?

Buy the DVD? Maybe if you explained the situation they would let you off set the cost against the app you've already purchased.

Just catching up after a busy week! Ohhhh someone with red hair stood near me the first week... maybe one week I'll pluck up the courage to ask. DD is loving Elmhurst 😊 recognised a few faces when she went in which helps and finds the teacher strict but lovely. We're in purple group 10:30 and definitely a mix of new and old students. Sounds like there is a lot of year 5 girls if they are potentially split across 3 groups!

Yes DD will be so disappointed though, selfishly, I'm looking forward to one last Saturday lie for a while (especially now we have an early start for Tring on Sunday!).

Thanks - she LOVED the audition so sure she will 😊 I’m pretty sure I read something in the info they sent out about wearing your own leotard on the last day. I probably should back and read properly 😂

Though DD is just starting Elmhurst YDs we’ve previously been at the school for other things and can recommend a quick hop into Moseley which is not far past the MAC. Otherwise there’s the Plough at the top of Harborne or Boston Tea Party which has a couple of branches nearby. Wondering how much time we’ll actually have though as the isn’t that long...

Thanks that's really helpful. Also good to hear that we get to watch at the end of term though I guess things might be a bit different at the moment! DD is in group 1 - although she's 9 she's not that advanced in terms of RAD grades.

On the timetable sent, after the ballet class there’s a 45 minute session for ‘coaching/solos’ - can anyone already there she’s more light on what this is? Thanks 😊

That is really good of them and probably explains why the emails are taking a while to trickle out. Only heard great things about Ballet Boost so saves a tricky decision 🙂

Bizarrely I received two very similar emails last Friday - one saying results will be emailed by the 8th, the other with 'aim to' added in.

Sounds like they're getting the yeses and info out first then will email with the inevitable no after.
