Congrats Maestro Jonathan Lo and Ms Laura Day!

I am delighted to be able to tell you all the lovely news of the engagement of Maestro Jonathan Lo (music director of Northern Ballet, and guest conductor all over the world, including the recent Royal Ballet performances of Romeo and Juliet, and many BRB performances) to Ms Laura Day, Principal Character Artist at BRB (who recently gave such brilliant performances as Sancho Panza in DonQ).  

 

Very best wishes to them both for many, many happy, fun and healthy years together!  🥰

And then they got stranded in Bermuda for 20 hours (along with all the other passengers) when their defective plane from Miami landed for safety reasons!

It’s like two of one’s coolest and most talented friends fell in love and got engaged! 😀 ♥️💐 

 

Wishing Laura and Jonathan many many years of happiness together and lots of exciting and fulfilling creative projects in their careers.

 

Jonathan clearly putting his inspiration from all the romantic music he’s conducted and performed to good use ...😂👍....and even that top photo looks reminiscent of the lift from the pas de deux from Angelin Preljocaj’s  Le Parc, beloved of so many principal dancers at galas (and an Air France ad)! Congratulations to Laura and Jonathan! 🥂
