Mandy Kent
Please can someone knowledgeable tell me the name of a certain series of jumps performed by male dancers, eg Carlos Acosta in his heyday, and most recently on Instagram by Lukas BB Its a series of barrel turn followed by another barrel turn but with one leg pointing straight up as the body turns. I’ve always named it a Whoop Di Whoo. For its sheer exuberance but feel sure there must be a technical term ? TIA Mandy Kent
rowan
Can you provide a link? I’m absolutely no expert, but I’ve never heard of a barrel jump, so have nothing to go on.
swanprincess
Haven’t seen the video, but guessing from your description it may be a 540 (revoltade)?

Pas de Quatre
Maybe it doesn't show on your device, but when I play it on a Samsung tablet the title of the clip is shown as 540 revoltade manege.
