tomuchtallent
Is this really the auditions for the Royal ballet school? Is it for White Lodge?
primrose
This definately does not look like any of the studios at The Royal Ballet Covent Garden, I also know that the school would not release a video like this without students permission.
BBA
I agree !
Peach3
They have no audition numbers or name tags on them. My dd also says it doesn't look like any studio at Covent Garden or White Lodge but we could be wrong.
drdance
It looks as if there's about 3 different groups of dancers featuring in this video! And at least 2 different studios!
Balletgirlsplease
They also look too old having just seen 135 year 6 JAs together. Plus lots are in tights and they ask for socks and ballet shoes I thought!
Pas de Quatre
It says at the beginning that it is taking place in Livorno, (known as Leghorn in England) in Italy. But it also says audition for Royal Ballet School of London. I agree with everyone above, RBS would never release such a film. Only scenario I can think of is that perhaps there was an RBS outreach event going to take place there, and these were local auditions to see who would be put forward?
tomuchtallent
I was thinking the same about no numbers on them.Do they have numbers on for RBS auditions or just look at photos? Seems a bit strange to me,must be something else, but why use the RBS name?
Fiz
What weird music to use for it, too! I think they were not the actual auditions but those who were auditioning for the audition, if you see what I mean
JulieW
I'm on my phone so can't see it. Maybe someone should send it to the RBS publicity office - I'm sure they'd be interested!

Pas de Quatre
It's dated November 2009 on the opening credits.
amber21
It looks more like an advert or something along those lines!! Ax
Jellybeans
This is certainly nothing like any RBS events my dd has been involved in, auditions or otherwise. It certainly isnt a very good advert for the school if that is what it is!
JulieW
There are various videos on YouTube that say Royal Ballet School which turn out to be for other Royal Ballet Schools - the lack of numbers is the give away!
