  4. There's a useful musical analysis of Bernstein's Serenade after Plato's 'Symposium' (the score that Wheeldon uses) by Charles Hazlewood on the BBC iPlayer.

  8. Just a reminder that it's on tonight (Saturday) - and then presumably on iPlayer.
  9. 10. Lots of £10 standing tickets now available on ROH website.
  11. Thanks. Don't know why I've had it in my head that it opens on Friday! Let's hope that Morera is better for the rest of her slated performances.
  12. Cast change for The Age of Anxiety on Thursday 15th: Laura Morera is indisposed and replaced by Sarah Lamb (who plays Rosetta in the other cast.)
  13. As someone pointed out before, the Robbins Foundation website mentions performances of The Concert by the Royal Ballet in December 2018 so, although not announced by the RB yet, it's not a secret. Nothing else from the RB on their list of anniversary events but one can but hope.
  14. This article explains more. Seems they may open a new food store in Covent Garden - thank goodness!

  19. The Royal Elegance events seem to be between August 30 and September 1, whereas the World Ballet Festival (aka International Ballet Festival) is August 1 - 12. I think!
