  1. We’ve done the same and actually wonder if intensive might me more beneficial especially when compare with price.
  2. The intensive is a new programme for this year - I think because they have so many applicants in the 13-15 age category. My daughter got the same and we are not sure what to do. My daughter did the junior company in 2022 and loved it (was her first ballet intensive), but especially loved the performances at Crescent theatre and Sadlers Wells.
  3. Yes the Easter recording came the day after they finished . It’s a you tube link - sure they can re-send it to you.
  4. My daughter did YBS Easter last year and will be going again this year. She was 13 last Easter so classed as a junior. She is 14 now so will be classed as a senior. I think is based on school years. I know they had a ballet class, rep class and contemporary everyday. They did a performance at the end to parents which was about an hour long. My daughter really enjoyed it last year, made lots of new friends and improved her ballet a lot.
  5. Oh that’s annoying - I wonder what the hold up is.
  6. It was 17.00 last year - and before the given date. I was sure we would hear Friday!
  7. @Sparks82 is your daughter 16 or 18?
  8. I asked Lara and she said due to the gala performance it would take longer than normal. She said would hear by 4th December which is Monday.
  9. Can anyone recommend intensives in Spain - wanting to combine ballet with improving language for GCSEs.
  10. I would also recommend Luke, Ballet physio - his knowledge astounded me.
  11. Sorry I didn’t ask but Elsewhere I read was 30 in junior company in previous years.
  12. NYB have replied and said approx ten 12 year olds in junior company so all good! Been looking up hotels in Birmingham - any recommended? Though think we will go as cheap as poss in walking distance. We live in London so won’t have that added cost at least. Really excited for my daughter and my mini break in Brum!
  13. Thanks @RachHand @PrancingMum. The email said they thought she was better fitted to working with one choreographer intensively. We’ve accepted the place but I didn’t want her to be the only 12 year old. I’ve emailed NYB.
