  1. There's a snippet of a Nureyev rehearsal of Apollo on YouTube
  2. Forgot to mention Matthew Bourne's Romeo & Juliet. really unsettled me, so much I haven't revisited the recording, even though I thought it was his best since Swan Lake.
  3. Looking forward to Pharoah's Daughter. I've never seen the full ballet. Not one that turn's up in ROH's repertoire.
  4. I'm new on the forum and well less knowledgeable than most on here, but I do have the normal ROH and ENB with a smattering of Bolshoi on DVD. I don't wish to sound like an advertisement, but I've welcomed the chance to broaden my ballet and musical horizons, watching the La Scala and and Australian companies which are seldom offered.
  5. The Bolshoi dancing The Golden Age is being streamed on the Marquee Channel. If anyone else is able to see it I would love to hear their opinion. I'm new to the forum and not a dancer myself. I found it absolutely stunning, the choreography in the speakeasies [14 minutes in] being reminiscent of Macmillan's Elite Syncopations. The original ballet dates from 1930, this choreography from 1982 and the black-and-white costumes quite amazing in the way they enhance the choreography.
  6. Or Akram' Khan's Giselle or Frankenstein or as you say, Dracula. and the Rite of Spring shown is not the original, which is creepy on account of being weird...
