This is a bit niche but I've just heard lines in to Paddington will be shut for engineering works 24-27 Dec inclusive...I assume this will affect Elizabeth Line services to as it's to do with work at Old Oak Common. I think my trip to see Leticia Dias as SPF is doomed.

This feature of social media is a pain as, even if I ‘unfollow’ people (for example Mr RBX - who has been named above; and Mr RBY - who hasn’t and is a newer ‘offender’), I seem to get their feed coming through on a regular basis. It doesn’t offend me but I just don’t need it.
I never willingly book for Mr RBX because his stage persona doesn’t ‘do it’ for me - and I realised that before the days of Instagram. But I do have a sense that what Mr RBY is now showing on social media might be affecting how I view him on stage - which is why I started this thread.
Who's
RachelRBX?- 1

It's great fun trying to work out who you're talking about 😄

Just spotted this and have now booked Private Lives and Crown Jewels!! Thank you!!!

And now it looks like Sumina Sasaki is going to be Queen of the Dryads 👏

According to Yuhui Choe's IG story she's going to be Mercedes for the first time, as is Leticia Dias (from her story last week)....the question of when goes unanswered for now, of course

Only just seen these castings, definitely giving me something to savour on my train ride down to the New Forest!!
First thing I checked, that Leticia Dias is doing Mistress!!! ✅👏 Quite surprised to see Anna Rose O’Sullivan is doing it. I would have loved to have seen Isabella Gasparini in the role.
Im relieved to see Melissa Hamilton gets a public performance as Manon, a must see for me as is Fumi and Yasmine. And although I do wish it was Fumi/Bracewell at least we’ve still got the Swan Lake announcement to see if that happens.

I had actually thought of Hirano as a possible for Dante. Last time the two then-oldest male Princiapls were cast so as Hirano's is now the oldest male Principal I thought of him.
I'm amazed there's anyone you're missing!
I’ll have to miss Sasaki as SPF and Bomin as I can’t get back from Devon any earlier…I’m stressed enough getting to London for the evening performance on the 27th- 1

Disappointed to be missing Bomin Kim’s Clara…I’ll be on the train home from Devon on the 27th but relieved to be seeing two new Claras!!

Timings seemed to be all over the place last night....the 'show starts in ten minutes' announcement was made at 1916 although it didn't start until after 1935? The 10 minute bells were being rung far earlier than the announcement and the foyer was empty by the time the 5 minute announcement was made

I didn't know there were that many performances!!
To be honest I think I've gone a bit over the top with the Dantes

Oh god, I've just counted my trips:

5 - Cellist
2 - Dante
1 - Limit
17 - Nutcracker

It's a long shot I know...but if there's anyone out there unable to use theirs I'll willingly buy it off them
Thanks

Joy Sable (Jewish Chronicle) refers to Jewels as a 'cornerstone' of Australian Ballet. That stone set very quickly as the ballet has only been TAB's repertoire for three months!

I’ll wait for train strikes to be announced before I book my ticket…I’m looking at a Saturday matinee, it’s bound to be hit 🙄😆

And now I’ve just received the email talked about above 🤔

I reckon the bulk of the invited guests will be connected to the King’s charities with the King also in attendance.

I've just gone back in to have one more look in case any tickets have reappeared, only to encounter the ticket limit announcement for the first time. Ironically it's not for Don Q, which I booked a couple of tickets for half an hour ago, but for The Nutcracker, a production I have not yet booked any tickets for this coming season!
And I'm getting the 500 Error page
-
ROH are really going to town with the 7th November Don Q performance....it now has the twirly dancer pic instead of the Vadim/Nela pic on my Tickets page!

My queue was five minutes and that was after the dreaded 500 error page that appeared at the stroke of 9am

Surely the wording of the email (which I haven't received) combined with 'Invited Audience' means many or all of the remaining seats are going to be filled with a sizeable number of invited people rather than a change of cast or it being filmed now...but unlike a schools matinee where the public are faced with 'Not Available' rather than 'Sold Out' on the booking page I assume at some point tickets will be on sale again later.

Listened to it on my walk in the Wye Valley yesterday afternoon...an entertaining half hour, and I will live by her mid class instruction 'any port de bras you like' 😄
