It mentioned Rory on the printed cast lists in the foyer too!

I think it would have to be live? On the website it says: The Sleeping Beauty, Live: Wednesday 24 May.
Oh ok....they've stopped saying that it's filmed on the booking dates page then.

Is tonight's cinema screening going to be of tonight's performance (rather than the same cast last week that was filmed) or does the ROH website no longer warn in advance that the there is filming?

I very much appreciate Osipova’s unique style, characterisation and how she changes things in certain areas. I like seeing diversity in interpretations. It would be dull if every performance of this ballet was exactly the same.
Like missing that supported hop sequence near the end of their Act III pdd- 2

And I did also like the nonchalant way that David Donnelly’s wolf sauntered on, just prior to catching sight of Red Riding Hood.I realised either during the Beauty Mixed or the previous run of the full Sleeping Beauty that you HAVE to watch the wolf's entrance when it's David Donnelly....I used to watch LRRH tiptoeing around until I first saw DD's unique swagger and now just look out for his entrance each time. A couple of performances ago I realised I hadn't checked the cast list but sure enough could tell it was David just from his background strolling 😄

This is very confusing talking about two different Ellas in the same thread, and even on the same page.
I think Rihanna sang a song about it .......umbrella ella, ella, eh, eh, eh

I imagine the other two were Ginevra and Charlotte?

Is she one of the smaller dancers? When they were lined up across the front of the stage kneeling down Viola Pantuso was at one end of the line and at the other end of the line was a dancer of a similar height so is she Ella Newton Severgnini?
She's small, yes....and thanks to the ROH finally updating the profiles of the Aud Jebsen dancers I can now see she's British, I'd assumed she was American for some reason.

Ella Newton Severgnini was one

Nor had I. I knew it was the first time this season & the first time I'd seen him in the role but I'd assumed he'd done it in previous runs. Also does anyone know if Harry Churches was making his Florestan debut? I can't find him on any previous cast sheets.
Query for those who are good at dancer identifications: who were the 8 Lilac Fairy attendants in the prologue last night? I was fairly sure of 5 of the 8 but not the other 3.
Which five have you got?

With Leticia Dias, on 17th January, going by the cast sheets on the ROH website. I saw them together 2 days later on 19th.
I think his debut was during the Beauty Mixed performances in 2021...which I assume still counts as a debut

I see that Nadia Mullova-Barley is Lilac to Osipova's Aurora - is this the debutante hinted at above?!
I knew that would happen!!🤦♂️ Hopefully she'll be Lilac Fairy for other performances too

I like the Corybantic Games costumes.... and when I think Burberry I think scarves which I have no problem with them wearing🙂

And they missed out/changed the same bit of near end of Act 3 choreography as Osipova/Clarke 🤔
